The races to watch
13 contests carrying the night. Each card carries its own county map, shaded for whoever leads there; the full county results open underneath. Alaska has no counties, so its top-four primaries are drawn on the 19 boroughs and 11 census areas the Census counts in their place, rolled up from the state's own precinct file.
Every race on tonight's ballot
57 contested races out of 135 on the ballot across Florida, Alaska and Wyoming, plus special elections in California, Arkansas and Pennsylvania. Alaska's 40 state house primaries, 10 state senate primaries and ballot measure are read from the state's own precinct file, which the results feed does not carry. 71 still to load.

Live returns from the Decision Desk HQ public results feed, read fresh every few seconds. Percentages are each candidate’s share of the vote in that contest. A state split across two time zones closes twice, so the strip above counts down to the next closing and names the last one: Florida’s peninsula closes at 7:00 PM ET and its panhandle at 8:00 PM, which is why every statewide Florida race closes at 8:00. Where a state does not publish precinct counts, the reporting figure is counted votes against the expected turnout for that race. Lead confidence describes how much of the vote is still out, not a polling forecast. Results are unofficial until certified by each state.
